Name Tags Youll Want to Keep
December 16th, 2009Purchasing identification tags for your employees used to be such a groaner. Not only did nobody want to wear them, but they looked cheap (because, let’s face it, they were) and they tended to get lost or broken in the first month anyway. Not to mention the fact that almost everyone “forgot” to put theirs on. Enter the magic zoo! For custom badges that you’ll repurchase again and again because you want to, this is the place. In fact, the name tags are so well-constructed, and so downright beautiful, the people working for you will ask for them! Read the rest of this entry »

December 2nd, 2009Goji juice is taken out from wolf berries better known as goji berries. These are nutritionally dense fruits collected from vines in Asia. Goji fruit is a bit sour, a bit sweet, and a bit tangy. It is difficult to describe the exact flavor, but it could be described as a blend of plum with raspberry. Others think it is a blend of cranberry with cherry. Read the rest of this entry »
Designer Glasses are a Must for Some Consumers
October 30th, 2009Designer sunglasses are an affectation best saved for teenage girls and people who think they will be respected for wearing a popular brand of wholesale sunglasses. From my perspective, there is only so much that a designer can do to the frames of sunglasses to keep them from looking like all the others. To add distinction, they must either resort to smaller lenses which will lessen the protection, or decorations on the frame that may not synchronize well with the outfit of the day. All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth
October 27th, 2009Luckily we are all past this stage in our lives. In fact life was simpler back then. Today the stress of keeping a job, family commitments and financial worries are enough to make us physically unhealthy. Yet depression doesn’t have to own us. We can do something about it and it doesn’t have to be as expensive as today’s dental work bill. Get off your butt and get out and get some exercise. To begin a simple walk around your neighborhood is a good start. Work in at least 30 minutes 3 times a week. Gradually you’ll feel better to increase the minutes. Then start a strength program to regain muscle strength. Find a personal trainer and rediscover your body. Read the rest of this entry »
The Indian Hawthorn is Great for Southern Gardeners
October 26th, 2009If you live in the south or another warm climate, the Indian Hawthorn (Rhaphiolepis indica) is a great outdoor bonsai tree for you. It hates the harsh, cold winter temperatures, so you certainly want to either give it a warm environment or, if you live in a cold area, bring it in during the winter. It’s an evergreen bonsai, and it really loves the outdoors. Keep it in some shade, though—like all bonsai, the Indian Hawthorn is not a fan of bright, direct sunlight. The tree features shiny, dark green colored leaves, and during the spring, it will grow small, white flowers that resemble cherry blossoms. It also produces small, dark berries. A Favorite Clay Fish Baker
October 20th, 2009My husband has become a bit of a health-nut. It seems over the last few years he’s become more and more focused on eating healthy and getting a lot of exercise, whether it’s hiking, working out with weights, or biking. I’m glad he’s taking his health so seriously. It’s even a good influence on me, though I still eat my fair share of sweets and simple carbs like chips and breads. The hard part is adjusting our menus to fit his new tastes – he hardly eats meat anymore, but he does love fish. I usually bake the fish in one of my usual stainless baking pans but if you’re not careful it can get overcooked and dry very quickly. That’s why I think this covered clay fish baker is such a great idea. Read the rest of this entry »
Luxurious 750 Capacity Mahogany Chip Case
October 16th, 2009Recently my husband simply got fed up with his poker chip case. He had bought some really nice poker chips in a 500 piece set that came with an aluminum case. Evidently not all aluminum poker chip cases are made equal. His case had all but fallen apart in a matter of about six months. One of his friends has a similar case that has been in use for over a year and is holding up quite well. As a result of this dissatisfaction, my husband was looking to make a considerable upgrade in a quality poker chip case. As the game had grown and adjusted, he had purchased an additional 250 poker chips and simple plastic racks to store them in. So you can imagine the disarray. Read the rest of this entry »

Face it, even the nicest garden will benefit from a carefully located bird feeder and event quite a few deck perimeters are designed to accommodate bird house feeders. It wasn’t always like this but these days, building birdbaths and marketing birdfeeders is a huge business. But within what you’d think of as a tough corporate world there’s a wonderful company that found a way to convert unused farmland to a new purpose and what the ended up with was a line of bird house bird feeders like this Apple Shaped Bird House Birdfeeder. Among it’s many attractions is the simple fact that you don’t ever need to worry about going out in the middle of the winter and plowing through the snow with your bag of sunflower seeds. April 27th, 2009Thinking of replacing your water filter with a new one? Consider the Aquasana AQ-4000 filter. February 11th, 2009When I think of having waffles for breakfast, I usually picture the kind of waffles you find in the frozen food section of the grocery store.
