My husband has become a bit of a health-nut. It seems over the last few years he’s become more and more focused on eating healthy and getting a lot of exercise, whether it’s hiking, working out with weights, or biking. I’m glad he’s taking his health so seriously. It’s even a good influence on me, though I still eat my fair share of sweets and simple carbs like chips and breads. The hard part is adjusting our menus to fit his new tastes – he hardly eats meat anymore, but he does love fish. I usually bake the fish in one of my usual stainless baking pans but if you’re not careful it can get overcooked and dry very quickly.  That’s why I think this covered clay fish baker is such a great idea.

Romertopf Clay Cookwareoffers a lot of great bakers that can be used for making anything from soups and stews to your Thanksgiving turkey. What’s wonderful about cooking in clay is that your meats and fish stay moist and tender – no more overcooked fish. The containers are really quite attractive too and can easily be used for serving dishes if you’re short on serveware.
